[edit] Candidate for merge/redirect

Not only does this article suffer from POV problems, but its information is duplicated (in better form) in the Prince Sultan Air Base article. It furthermore suggests that U.S. troops entirely withdrew from Saudi Arabia in 2003, in actuality the U.S. still maintains a military presence of several hundred troops stations at Eskan Village.

As these events are already well-described in the article on Prince Sultan Air Base, I recommend that we merge/redirect this article.

Somehow I doubt people google "Prince Sultan Air Base" if they want to learn about a military withdrawal Sherurcij (talk) (bounties) 01:08, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Good illustration of the problem with this article. The U.S. didn't withdraw from Saudi Arabia, they closed one base there. The name suggests that a withdrawal occurred. Changed to merge/redirect recommendation, which perhaps drafts the most neutral middle ground POV. dpotter 01:16, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
