This page should be updated with actuals from the Congressional Budget Office now that the 2006 actuals have been published.

The President's "budget" is only a request, as congres has final say over all appropriations.

Agreed. Also, the accuracy of the figures has to be checked. The dept. of Energy's figure was wrong (as in the 2007 budget) see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_Department_of_Energy
