[edit] Criticism
This is the second article I've ever made, and the first from scratch, so if you have any constructive criticism, please leave it on my talk page. Bahamut0013 11:51, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nukes?
Think it's worth mentioning that Marines have no role in the production or use of nuclear ordnance? I don't think there are even any gravity bombs left in the US arsenal that a Marine Aircraft can carry. bahamut0013♠♣ 21:24, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- It is probably worth a mention in the History section somehow linked in with the true focus of CAS. There were 1 or 2 FW squadrons that did train to deliver nuKes in the 50s and 60s. I'll have to do some digging to remember which ones they were. Don't know if those nukes were ever stored on MCASs though.--Looper5920 (talk) 21:42, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

- VMFA(AW)-225 was who I was thinking about.--Looper5920 (talk) 21:45, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- VMA-214 is another and they were the first to be certified for nuke delivery.--Looper5920 (talk) 06:38, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I added a sentance, but without any references (I couldn't find anything), I left it very vague. bahamut0013♠♣ 17:21, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
