I seriously dont think this article should be considered a stub anymore. It seems to contain alot of usefull information as it is.

I removed the second paragraph of legal basis because it is misleading. While Auxiliarists who independently have qualified as range instructors may serve in that capacity in the Coast Guard, the Coast Guard does not otherwise authorize Auxiliarists to carry firearms nor does it provide commensurate training.
