I was in the ASA back in the day (67-71), and I don't remember anything called the "Army Intelligence Agency." There was Military Intelligence (no "agency" in the name) & the Defense Intelligence Agency. As I understand it, it was Military Intelligence that merged with ASA. If I'm mistaken, please disregard.

For many years James T. Davis (Murfreesboro, TN) was listed as the first US serviceman to die in Vietnam before the "list" was carried back into the 50's.--Buckboard 21:12, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
