[edit] Comments and some small changes

Fascinating history! I like the serious effort on this page to collect references. I stumbled onto it because I was trying to understand the poetry prize given by the Union League Civic and Arts Foundation, which has been received by many distinguished poets.EAS 03:17, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alex, I'm building a ULCNY page

Alex: I see you have expanded this article. I think it would be a good idea to build a separate ULCNY page, which I have begun. I was going to go over to the Club tomorrow and shoot a digital picture, so there will be no copyright issues. - John Barnes

Much of this entry was lifted from another site. I'm new to Wiki and I signed in because I want the problem noted for the record. If I am not following the proper procedure, please let me know.

what you did is ok, & I removed the copyvio. Even if it had been fair, it would have been necessary to remove it. but you could also simply have removed it and justified on the talk page. I note that this article is in need of some expansion. Perhaps the Union League in the south and the clubs in the North need separate treatment. DGG (talk) 07:02, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
