Formed in 2006 by four budding actors (Nick Smith, Vijay Verma, Matthew Keeler and Chris Bates). Originally meant as a bit of fun the idea became a lucrative business, under the names Skittish Empire. There first show took place in Weston on Trent Village Hall and was recieved well by the 100 strong crowd. The material was costume orientated all original but their youth and immaturity was obvious. June 2007 was the next big step for the quartet writing more minimalist sketches and each performing ten minute bouts of stand up proved extremly successful now called Unfamiliar Faces to match their new style. Currently they are in talks with BBC, Channel 4, Hat Trick Productions and others. Expect to see more from them in the future.
