UNECE Population Activies Unit

The Population Activities Unit (PAU) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is dealing with population-related issues in the member states of the UNECE. The two main activities of the unit are
a) assisting the United Nations General Assembly member states in the implementation, monitoring and follow-up to the 2002 UNECE Ministerial Conference on Aging
b) the gender and generations program.
