?

I think indie is more of a music genre now or sound. It would be cool if some posted a list of underground bands by region.

This article should be merged with Indie music, or vice versa. They are both mean basically the same thing. Although I can't decide... what topic is a subset of what? Is "Indie" a category of "Underground Music" or vice versa?

[edit] Indie vs. Underground

I don't think they're the same thing. Almost anything on an indie label (not owned by the big four) could be called indie if it's not solidly in one of the usual genres. In particular a band could be indie if it is selling recordings and never or rarely performs. An underground band primarily is a performing band, in minor venues, with a minimal or zero penetration of the recorded music market. Just my opinion.
