[edit] movies about the counterculture movement
Can someone give names of some movies about the counterculture movement ? Jay 11:07, 18 Jun 2004 (UTC)
[edit] expansion
this definitely should be expanded to featured article status. i am merely raising awareness; i will attempt to contribute myself. Lockeownzj00 05:07, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] peer review request
I have done quite some changes to this article but not exactly expanded it, since much of the history is already covered in other articles, for example, history of 20th century subcultures. It would be worthwile to dedicate a page to 1960s counterculture, this could be a container for several 1960s countercultural movements (Prague, London, US, ...)--Jahsonic 14:41, 21 August 2005 (UTC)
Deleting external link to MySpace page about underground films due irrelevance. 68.99.47.170 03:31, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Merge underground resistance here
The latter is a stub, and deals with the same topic than here. Tazmaniacs 14:18, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- Respectfully disagree. Underground culture(s) and Underground resistance may have some commonalities but each is distinct and combining the two will cause more confusion which seems counterproductive to WP. As a suggestion this article should be expanded to see what sources support the subject and then compare to see if merger is still appropriate. My hunch is that there are some underground cultures that resulted in underground resistance and they might become a unique article unto themselves. Benjiboi 19:40, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Once the underground resistance movement stops killing people and blowing things up, it stops being one and becomes the other. In fact, Underground culture should probably merge into Alternative culture, while Underground resistance merges into Resistance movement. Ewlyahoocom 06:44, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Also disagree about merging Underground culture and Alternative culture, I've always known and seen these two as distinct yet overlapping cultures. The two resistance articles however may make sense Benjiboi 18:31, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

I think we can say this merge suggestion is effectively dead. I am removing the merge templates. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 04:00, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
