[edit] Template created

Ok, I've made the template and updated it from the initial placeholder styling to a more modern, stylistic version. I also made a logo on the style of the Ultima games (I've placed it under creative commons licence, feel free to use it whereever with attribution to me). The only thing I didn't manage to do was place the v-e-t (view-edit-talk) float in front of the logo without moving it down. Also, come to think of it, I don't know how to link to the edit page... Anyone who can help with this? Miqademus (talk) 16:12, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

it's kinda big and disruptive to articles it's in (look atwhat it does to the Ultima 4 article for example) does anyone think it would be better as a bottom bar than a side bar? harlock_jds (talk) 22:55, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
I agree. I think a better solution would be to add add to {{Ultima}} the remaining articles not found there. Pagrashtak 17:54, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
I scaled down the size and width of the template. I personally think that a sidebar template offers convenience, aesthetics and a much-needed sense of commonality and "portalness" to the Ultima articles. The new size I find suitable and non-intrusive. It also has the not-to-be-underestimated advantage of prominently presenting the Ultima logo. However, the articles of the games themselves, which already have a game info template to the top right, might be more suitably served by and augmented version of the old bottom template. it was really messing up the format of the Ultima Game pages so it shouldn't go on there untill it can play nice with the other sidebar infobox harlock_jds (talk) 14:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
I have made another template called "Ultima-Mini" that can be placed inside the navbox of the respective games' pages. Please tell me what you think of it. Miqademus (talk) 17:26, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
