Ulpu Iivari

Ulpu Iivari (b. 30 March 1948, Salla) is a Finnish Social-Democrat politician and former member of the European Parliament. A journalist by education, Iivari began her political career as a representative in the Finnish Parliament in the 1990s, and later moved into the European Parliament.
After not succeeding in being re-elected in 2004 election, Iivari withdrew from politics and currently works as a consultant in the communications industry
