Ulnar loop

Ulnar loop is a term used in classifying fingerprints. Ulnar loops start on the pinky-side of the finger, the side closer to the ulna, the lower arm bone. The ulnar loop is just one of 8 most common fingerprint patterns. The radial loop, the tented arch, the plain arch, the accidental whorl, the plain whorl, the central pocket loop, and the double loop whorl.
