'Pendula' was finally identified as a Siberian Elm Ulmus pumila cultivar by Krüssmann in Handb. Laubgeh. 2: 540. 1962. Described as having pendulous branches bearing small leaves with equal teeth [1]. It is not known whether the tree remains in cultivation.
