The American Elm Ulmus americana cultivar 'Fiorei' was raised by the Charles Fiorei Nurseries [2], Prairie View, Illinois, before 1948, but is no longer listed by the company. The tree has a narrow form with dense, heavy foliage and a smooth bark [1].
The tree is not known to have been introduced to Europe or Australasia.
