The cultivar 'Planeroides' was described by Carrière in Revue Hort. 1875: 287, fig. 48, 1875, as having leaves like Planera aquatica. Identified as "possibly Ulmus carpinifolia (: minor)" by Green [1], it is unlikely the tree remains in cultivation.
