Uhm Jung-hwa (born August 17, 1969)[1] is a South Korean singer and actress best known for her roles in the films Marriage Is a Crazy Thing (which earned her a Best Actress Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards), My Lovely Week and Princess Aurora. Singer and actor Uhm Tae-woong is her younger brother. As a singer she recognized as an icon in 90's Korean Pop culture, Korean Gay Icon, known as the "sexy queen", and is currently with Trifecta Entertainment. She is one of the most successful female artist in Korean pop history.

In 2006, she courted controversy by wearing revealing outfits for her performances in support of her Prestige album, causing Netizens to heavily criticize her.[2] Recently, Uhm Jung-hwa launched her new lingerie line, Zuhm in New York, which racked in 10 million USD within 3 months of its release.
