Ugly Way

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ugly Way (also known as Ghost Way) is a healing rite used by Native Americans to cure sickness caused by ghosts, demons, and other evil spirits. It is part of the way between Hozho and Hocho, Order and Chaos. Early Christian missionaries linked it to the War in Heaven or the forces of good and evil, but it has more similarities to eastern concepts, for example yin and yang.
