Talk:UEFA Champions League 1998-99

This article has serious neutrality problems; the article has a blatant Manchester United bias - "Why do it the easy way? Indeed, the Red Devils appeared to have the class and confidence to deal with any situation", and "But then a miracle happened". The article only seems to mention Manchester United - fair enoguh if the article was about the final - but it is the whole tournament. Manchester United is repeatedly emboldened, many stories of other teams can be included here instead. Narsamson 18:11, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
The commentry was taken straight from UEFA.com - hardly a biased source of information. Though it did seem a bit over-the-top about Manchester United. How about talking of Dynamo Kiev's run to the semi-finals for example?
- An article talking about a tournament is inevitably bound to be biased in favour of the team that's won it; how can it not be?! Yes, a lot of the cruft can be stripped down, but at the end of the day one team won it. Nobody remembers beaten semi-finalists. Kinitawowi 14:25, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
United beat Juventus 3-2 away, it wasn't a 2-2 draw. I'm suprised nobody noticed before me.
I don't think Real Madrid v Inter in the group stages was played at the Bernabeau. Because of the problems with the nets in the semi v Dortmund the year before they were banned from playing at home for a number of European games by UEFA. I'm pretty sure it was played at the Ramon Sanchez in Sevilla. They may have played other European games there too that season, I can't quite remember. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.17.111 (talk) 13:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
