My name is Peter A Christiansen. I am a graduate of the University of Chicago class of 2006 with concentrations in Biological Chemistry and Biology with specialization in Neuroscience, Genetics, and Immunology. I am currently a medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Most of my research and publications have been in immunology, particularly in the areas of oncoimmunology, viral oncology, radiation oncology, hepatic regeneration, and ischemic reperfusion injury. I have intentions of going into orthopaedic spine or neurological surgery and possibly pursing a PhD after medical school. I hope to help make wikipedia a sufficient resource for any topic encountered in medical school.
