"U Know What's Up" is a hit song by singer-songwriter-producer Donell Jones. In November 1999 (see 1999 in music) it reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and stayed at number one for eight consecutive weeks, and it reached number seven on Billboard's Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks. The song featured the late rapper Lisa Lopes of TLC. The song was produced by Edward "Eddie F" Ferrell & Darren Lighty for Untouchables Entertainment. It's is Donell's biggest hit to date. It's also to be noted that an upcoming Anthony Hamilton co-wrote the song.

[edit] Music Video

The video featured the late female rapper Lisa Lopes of TLC, YoungBloodZ, T.I., Usher and Big Boi of OutKast, all of which were (including Jones) part of the LaFace Records label. At the beginning of the video, there is a sign that says La Face Place, in reference to the record label.
