I Gregory Boyd was a member of the US Navy Steel Band from 1987-1990. I played double 2nd pan and cello pans. The Band was constantly touring and performing. I believe in the 3 years I performed with the band, we toured every state in the U.S. During this time we recorded "Steel Appeal" the 30th anniversary tribute recording of the Band.
