[edit] Some changes I recommend...

I'm being bold and edited a few of the behind the scenes code to allow automatic changing of the article of the week (AOTW). I haven't finished yet and will get back to you all. BUt for the time being, this page and this one are for weeks 33 and 34 and the Joshua Tree appears on this page. I will set pages up where each week's (actually i suggest every fortnight) article can be stored in advance. --Merbabu 16:25, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] others...

I'd suggest removing the bio of the week - we don't have that many people. Although, one thing might be to put bios of people who have worked with the band and its members - or been a big influence (in which case we need to mention the U2 link in our summary). Eg, this could be Eno, Bill Gates, and Bob Dylan. We could also make the summaries a little longer than the current Joshua Tree summary is - no more than double though.

Also, maybe it would be an idea to cut down on the quotes - and collect others and rotate them through.

Hmmm - i like the intent of the colour scheme, but it is rather unconventional with all those red fonts. --Merbabu 16:43, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Ok, I was actually thinking of removing the bio thing, but would it mess up the formatting? I can do something with like 3 quotes at a time, and rotate them? Well, Smithcool set up the color scheme, but red and black straight up was painful, so I used a lighter red and a lighter grey, but I think they were chosen because they were the Vertigo tour colors. Do you think that it should be changed? Thanks for the feedback! Neranei (talk) 19:36, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
PS, i think the colour scheme has good ideas, just needs refining maybe. As for formatting and placement of articles that can be worked out. Anyway, there is no urgency. I will post later. --Merbabu 02:01, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, I am a bit busy right now, I will get to it soon though. Neranei (talk) 02:07, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
