The Tyrone Senior Football Club Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the WJ Dolan Tyrone Senior Football Club Championship) is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Tyrone clubs. The winners of the Tyrone Championship qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship.
The competition is presently competed for by 24 clubs each year in a tournament which is run on a straight knock-out basis, however from 2008 this will revert back to 16 clubs. The current champions of Tyrone football are Dromore, who claimed their first title in 2007, after a comfortable win over Coalisland.[1]
