Talk:Tyler Florence

[edit] Cibo - New York, NY
We just ate at Cibo after thinking it was still one of Tyler's restaurants and had a few good jokes with the staff about him not actually working there.
Apparently he got started there but hasn't been executive chef for almost 10 years. I'm going to update the infobox to reflect this but not exactly sure what the standard notation would be. Food TV Bio

[edit] Kevin Tyler Florence
Can anyone confirm the change from 'Tyler Florence' to 'Kevin Tyler Florence'? I can't find a source that confirms this. Blckdmnd99 02:48, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- It was on the Food Network's Chefography of him, which I'd think would be official. I remember, b/c when they said it, I thought, "Wow, so Tyler's his middle name. And he doesn't look like a Kevin." But I don't know how to cite that. Strangely, I can't find it mentioned in his bio on the Food Network site, or even on his official website. Weird, huh? --Ebyabe 13:29, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't remember them mentioning it in the Chefography, but when you do a Google search for "Kevin Tyler Florence" (with quotations), the only site that comes up is wiki. I don't know if the television special would be considered a reliable source, but perhaps someone can have a look at the press kit on his official site?
