Tycoch

Tycoch (or Ty-coch) is a suburban district of Swansea, Wales falling within the Sketty ward. Tycoch is situated north-west of Sketty Cross.
Facilities in Tycoch consist of several shops located within Tycoch Square. These shops include Swan CD Computers, J's Food store, Carnglas Road Sub Post Office and Tycoch Newsagents. The only educational facility in the area is Sketty Primary School. Cefn Coed Hospital is also located within Tycoch near the boundary with Cockett. Swansea College is located to the east on Vivian Road near Sketty Cross. Also there is a church and two chapels in the area, but no pub.
Housing around Tycoch Square tends to be pre-Second World War. On the higher ground at Llwyn Mawr the housing dates from the 1970s to the 1990s.
