First of all, I do not appreciate the tone of the message you left on my talk page. Whether you agree with me or not, your edits were a violation of 3RR and you were edit-warring. I brought the matter to the attention of an administrator, and he chose to protect the page. I had no idea that he would choose to do so so precipitously, but that was his choice, based on his knowledge and experience as an administrator. I do not second guess him on it. If you read the message I left, you will see that I was asking him for advice on how best to approach the matter. He suggested page protection.
