Push Play is an American pop rock band from Long Island, New York. It is made up of the four friends CJ, Nick, Dereck, and Steve. They have recorded an album called Deserted which is due out on December 22 of 2007.

The band was formed in Long Island, New York. The band started in August of 2006. The band has not been signed to any record label yet but, they are still choosing they record company they would like be signed to. Push Play will be releasing another cd in February called "Rescued" the counterpart of "Deserted". It will have lots of behind the scnes footage and lots more songs. "Rescued" will be available on Itunes, and stores around the country.

[edit] CJ Baren

CJ (born Christopher John Baren) was born on February 2, 1990. CJ is the lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and keyboard for the Push Play .CJ picked up his first guitar when he was about 8 years old.Then when he was 10 he picked his guitar back up to try to learn "All the Small Things" by Blink 182.He began to love the guitar. In the 6th grade he started his first band; however, there was one problem. We had no bass player. he met Nick DeTurris on the first day of school. He nagged him everyday to buy a bass and join his band "Kaution". Finally, he cracked and got a bass for Christmas and joined the band. Kaution stayed together for about 4 years and then they took a break. Him and Nick were recording at a studio in Long Island when they met Derek and Steve and became a great band.

Nick was born on December 19, 1989. He lives in Commack New York. He plays the bass guitar for the band Push Play .He has a fraternal twin brother named Anthony. He started to play for his love of music. He met CJ Baren in the 6th grade and became friends. CJ asked him to be in his band because they didn't have a bass player. Nick didn't know anything about bass. He finally gave in and bought his first bass. He taught himself how to play.

Dereck was born on April 11, 1989. He plays the drums for the band Push Play. He has a nickname D-ROCK. He played the drums all his life and he has played the drums in many bands before. He loves fashion and hanging out with his friends.

[edit] Steve Scarola

Steve was born on May 8, 1990. He is the background vocals, guitar, and [[keyboard] for the band Push Play. He took piano lessons when he was 7. He learned how to play the tuba and saxophone on school and learned how to play the drums for fun. He has been playing the guitar since he was 12 and hasn't stopped since then. He works after school tutoring kids how to play the guitar.
