Twindly Bridge Charter School

Twindly Bridge Charter School (TBCS) is a charter school located in the Matanusk-Susitna School District in the state of Alaska.

TBCS' mission is to provide an instructional program that builds on students’ strengths and interests. They believe that this approach promotes creativity and critical thinking. In this process the `basics’ are utilized in a non-contrived manner and the tools for rigorous study in any subject area are developed.

[edit] Educational Beliefs

The educational approach of TBCS is to focus on the individual student and his/her own interests, weaknesses and strengths, completing independent study at home and in supplementary classes held in the school’s classrooms and labs. Students are not required to attend suplemental classes at the school.
