"Twilight Time" is a popular song.
The words and music were originally written in 1944 by Buck Ram, Morty Nevins, Al Nevins and Artie Dunn. Original hits included the Three Suns and Les Brown.
It has been recorded by numerous acts over the years. However, the best known version of the song was recorded by The Platters and became a hit for them in 1958 and became a #1 hit for them in the United States. The song also reached #3 in the United Kingdom. The Platters also had a Spanish version of the song entitled "La Hora del Crepusculo(Twilight Time Spanish)" which was sung in a much different, rhumba style tempo.
It is played in a slow-dance tempo.
