The second section was definitely biased. Something like the "smelling the RBI" incident happens all the time when a player will imitate a players home run tradition when playing them. Pitchers do the same thing. Also, Pierzynski never threw his bat into the dugout. If that were the case, it would've been one of the biggest brawls baseball has ever seen. The players all knew it slipped, and even A.J. knows throwing a bat is just something you don't do. My guess is that this "article" was written somewhere in the upper midwest.

The second section of the article seems biased and a bit weasel-wordy. Pierzynski's acts may add to the rivalry, but the explanation sounds slanted. Anyone agree? -- Mister Congeniality 03:38, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

I think that this page is about as neutral as can be. It is a rivalry page so no matter what one side or the other will think that something is biased. If you are going to say that about the A.J. Pierzynski stuff being biased then you would have to say that the Torii Hunter section is biased also. Here is what I mean, "with his unneccesarily rough tackle for home plate". Ok think about it "unneccesarily rough tackle" did he takle the catcher? No, Hunter knocked him over to trying to knock the ball out of his glove while attempting to score a run it is part of the game. Was it necessary? Yes if he wanted to score. Even Mark Buehrle said, "Ozzie said it's part of the game and he expects our guys to play the same way." (King of fish 01:12, 15 April 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Neutrality

The sections on AJ rubbing his nose and Tori throwing has bat needs to be cited with articles that not only describe the confrontation, but also support that players, coaches, or fans see it as a problem. If no source can be sited, these sections should be removed keep neutrality. Chaztheweird 05:21, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
