From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For the album by Jamie Cullum, see Twentysomething (album).
A twentysomething is a person in the age group of 20 to 29. Such a person may also be termed a vicenarian. The current crop of twentysomething are people born from June 14, 1978 to June 13, 1988.
The term twentysomething first appeared in the late 1980s as a play on the earlier term thirtysomething from the 1980s television show of the same name in the United States. It initially referred to Generation X, who were then in their twenties but are now thirtysomething.
