"which vary in size from very small to medium sized" doesn't mean anything clear or objective... This kind of phrase should be avoided in an objective factual Wikipedia article. A tusk shell expert should indicate the average sizes of those life forms, as he/she should indicate the smallest observed in nature and the biggest observed in nature... Any volonteer ?
