Tribulation
Tribulation, defined as an event or period of time of grave suffering and a punishing trial, occurs only after a series of misdemeanors and various serious offenses. Often referred to the bible, tribulation can often take place due to numerous circumstances. Past occurrences of tribulation, have proven its influence as well as the extent of its destruction, which have ultimately decided the fate of our civilization, based on the lives of the "Old people".

Deviations
Everything, whether a human or a vegetable, is capable of committing a deviance or being a deviant. This includes, crops, animals, land, the environment, humans, etc. Deviations can consist of having an extra toe, an extra large physique, having a darker colour, and more. Often recognized through distortions or immoralities, deviants, or mutants, are often recognized due to physical distortions. However, it has been sought that deviations of the mental kind, for example, telepathy, exist, and are thus far more difficult to speculate, which have led to more detailed and severe inspections at birth. Deviations, described as being children of the devil, if caught, are forced to face the consequences of their nature. This often means being burned to the ground, when crops and the environment are concerned, or sent to the Fringes, a place in which only mutants inhabit the area, and as part of their punishment, are deprived of food, water, clothes, shelter, and other such necessities, further leading them to death. however, according to how severe the mutation is, deviants are sometimes executed, during the community ceremonies, in which deviations are eliminated. Though, it has been mentioned, that the severe punishments issued to date are nothing compared to what deviants used to experience. In the near past, deviants, no matter whether the human or the nature variety, used to be burned, in order to avoid reproduction and expansion of numerous more deviants. Though, as new superiors were appointed, laws changed.
Cause of the Mutations
As studies show, the true cause of the mutations are unknown, however, it has been recently suggested that the event which changed everything was that of the nuclear war, which took place many years in the past. During this war, various weapons of mass destruction were construited to kill, however during the process of a major nuclear mission, and explosion occured, further causing numerous heavy leaks. The leaks, whch consisted of highly radio-active waste travelled into water systems and were absorbed by the land, from which crops were grown, and people consumed food and water from. Although the process was slow, people soon realized that new born children, and new crops were different, and were quickly accused of being the wrok of the devil. Ever since then, such children, animals, and crops have been unapproved, further leading to the execution of them. As more muatants were found, more were killed, and the more people were meant to believe that such differences were wrong. This attitude, which soon became human nature, has resulted in a habit to rid all mutants.
Events Leading to Tribulation
As mentioned previously, tribulation occurs due to the act of committing serious offenses or misdemeanors on a regular basis, further leading to one large problem, which is ultimately, Tribulation. As more and more mutants are eradicated,the fewer the population becomes, as while more crops are burned, the less food is available. Though, throughout this, deviants which have been sent to the Fringes,continue to attack and raid populated communities, further resulting in utter chaos, which includes the death of many, a loss of food and essential supplies, and a disturbance in the growth of the economy. These are all examples of such consecutive misdemeanors which will result in the destruction of communities, and the human population, in the near future.
Past Occurences of Tribulation
As past instances have proven, tribulation is a force to be reckoned with. It has the power to create havoc, while wiping out civilizations and recreating new ones. An example of Tribulation which occured during the past, was of one which dealt with the environment, and what the "Old people" were doing to it. Due to their growing economies and new technology, the Old people took to the new age with significant force, further causing the destruction of the planet Earth. Producing gases, which when mixed, proved to be extremely dangerous, the Earth slowly began to deteriorate. While at the beginning sea levels began to rise, glaciers melted, the Earth became more heated (gloal warming), things changed quickly when storms began to hit, volcanoes began to erupt, earthquakes shattered communities, and other such disasters left the Old people helpless and fighting for survival, further resulting in the destruction of their civilization, and a new Earth, which has been ever changing. Such tribulation has proven that it exists, and can happen at any time.
