In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Turambar was the ninth King of Gondor. Born in TA.397, he was the son and successor of Rómendacil I.
He avenged the death of his father by conquering large parts of Rhovanion from the Easterlings. He was the longest reigning king since Meneldil, ruling for 126 years. He was succeeded by his son Atanatar I upon his death in 667 T.A.
