- Actually, I no long wish it deleted. However, here's why I did. As a redirect to Turtle Dove it is incorrect. Turtle Dove is Streptopelia turtur. The name of a species is not used as a link without the genus part of the name as well. The Turtur genus, as I found out after posting the request to delete here, does indeed exist and is a different genus of doves than Streptopelia. Since it exists, I'll make it redirect to Dove. - UtherSRG 01:39, 8 Feb 2004 (UTC)
