Description

Turkmen soldiers. Image taken from the book Turning the tide of war : 50 battles that changed the course of modern history by Tim Newark (2001) in which it was used to illustrate the Battle of en:Geok-Tepe of 1881. Presumably PD-old as after 1881 the Russians took over the Turkmen lands and incorporated it into Russian Turkestan
