[edit] Photos and Text Edits

I've rewritten and added some photos I took when I was in Tonga in 1978-1980. I sure wish I'd taken more photos. I was NOT thinking like an illustrator. Zora 04:13, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Tied and Pockets

Not being too familiar with these, but are they not tied with cloth sewn into the waistband, similar to a belt rather then a lavalava where you just fold the cloth onto itself like you do with a towel after a shower, making this a different type of clothing, in fact I would dare say it is more like a kilt than a lavalava. Because of this difference, you can place pockets in them as well since they will always be in the same location because of the way you tie it. I might change this pretty soon, so if there are comments please indicate to preserve the quality we all desire in these articles. --Billy Nair (talk) 01:26, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
