Tung Soo Hua

Tung Soo Hua (Chinese: 董素华; pinyin: Dǒng Sùhúa) is an acclaimed news anchor and programme presenter with MediaCorp. Tung Soo Hua joined MediaCorp in 1997 as a news editor before becoming a news reporter and anchor in 2000. Having fronted Channel 8 news programmes such as Singapore Today, Singapore Today Roving News, News 8 at Ten, Money Week and World This Week, she has interviewed over 50 CEOs and financial figures of listed companies, reaffirming her accomplishment as the programme host of Singapore’s leading financial television programme. She won the Best News/Current Affairs Presenter award in Star Awards 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

She holds a Master degree in Social Sciences (International Studies) from National University of Singapore. Her first degree is B. Sc with an Honours in Math.
