Calling something cross-platform because it supports Windows AND unix-based operating systems might be technically accurate, but it is hardly true cross-platform compatibility if you don't have a MacOS X version of a program these days. Considering most applications are programmed in a common language (C/C++), the language supports modularity for cross-platform compilation, and the MacOS has been based on a Mach kernel for 10 years... there is little excuse beyond laziness for not providing Apple MacOS compatibility. Unless the programmer is a n00b lUser.
