Tuli (caste)

Tuli is a highly- respected caste in India. Members of this community are usually from Punjab in North India and they may also be Sikh. They had a prominent role in the struggle for India's Independence against the British Raj. In the hierarchy of Hindu caste system, Tuli's are Kshatriyas or Warriors. One of the world-famous members of this community is Neville Tuli the famous Indian writer.
