[edit] Discussion
"Russian state terrorism" is quite sufficient for the POV template, however, there are more phrases like "political hostages", and "campaigned for political and cultural freedoms". --Illythr 01:47, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yup. The "campaigned for political and cultural freedoms" is a smokescreen, at best. What they really wanted was unification of Romania and Moldova, as one country. That is a valid political ambition. Why not just write that? Why hide it? Lots of people share the same goal. Whether or not someone agrees with it, it is a widely held opinion. It may not sound as noble as "political and cultural freedoms", but hey, between a grey truth and a rosy fantasy, is is not our obligation as Wikipedians to focus on the truth..? Were they jailed for their belief? Not really. Lots of people have this same belief and are not in jail. They were jailed because of their methods. This was a double homicide trial. I am sad that this all had to happen, and that these guys ended up in jail, but were they innocent? Not really - just read some of their interviews. They were young firebrands (at the time) and trigger happy. They felt that the way to change society was by using guns and violence. They have been compared to the Bader Meinhof and to the Red Brigades. - Mauco 03:46, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

- Compare this article to Andrei Ivanţoc which is still pro-Ivanţoc (and fails to give the Transnistrian side), but much less POV. - Mauco 03:55, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Isn't he ethnic Bulgarian? --Vladko 10:24, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
