Tsuneyo Toyonaga (豊永常代 Toyonaga Tsuneyo?) (May 21, 1894 – February 22, 2008) [1] was a Japanese supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in Japan from the death of Shitsu Nakano on August 19, 2007 until her own death. She was the fifth-oldest living person in the world following the November 14, 2007 death of fellow 113-year-old Bertha Fry.[2] At the time of her death she was one of the 90 longest lived people ever.
Before her death Tsuneyo Toyonaga was living in the town of Tano in the Kōchi Prefecture on the island of Shikoku.[3]
