[edit] 'Blood test'
Removed the 'blood test' passage. There is a theory that Asahara claimed his blood was very special and Sakamoto checked with the medics and it was quite normal and by revealing this he could do some damage. In fact he could do no damage by 'revealing' things like that. But he could inflict irrecoverable damage by bankrupting the group which he did with the Unification Church in Japan. It is especially important to delete this primitive theory and it is especially important to explain the reputation Sakamoto has build for himself to show that he was killed not because of some claims by Asahara but because of his extreme success in anti-cult litigation. Sakamoto is usually portrayed as a noble man who alone rebelled against the giant evil cult and was murdered for nothing. Reality (and this is well supported by accounts of his colleagues which can be found at Haruki Murakami's Underground) is very different. In other words, whatever information he planned to feed the media, this was not to reveal some truths to Aum followers, but to influence the courts' decision by way of PR campaign and then to get his fee which is a percentage. A class lawsuit to kill the group.
[edit] Proposing merger to Sakamoto family murder
These two are vitually identical, and the gentleman's prime notority is his unfortunate murder. I suggest that the differences be fixed and that this page redirect to the above.--Donovan Ravenhull (talk) 14:48, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
