Tseri (also known as Seri or Xeri) is a village in Cyprus to the south of the Cypriot capital, Nicosia. The region had a population about of 300 people before 1974 but at nowadays the populetion is approximately 9,000 people. Its inhabitants are known as "Tseriotis" or "Tserkotis" for males and "Tseriotissa" or "Tserkotissa" for females.
As of 2007, the president of the community council of the village is Alkiviadis Konstantinou.
The nearest airport is in the city of Larnaca.
Famous residents include poet Theodosis Pierides (1908–1968) , rally driver Grigoris Nicolaou (Mitzis) with EVO VIII (1983-), bodybuilder Alexis Papanicolaou (Lytsos), and football player Andreas Zakis El-Sheikh (1982-).
