Description

Tropical Storm Chantal was a short-lived tropical cyclone of the 2007 Atlantic hurricane season, lasting for 24 hours as a tropical cyclone. This image, taken by the GOES12 satellite, is from 1315Z on July 31, shortly after Chantal was declared to be a tropical storm.
