Trull is an affluent area in Somerset, England, situated in Taunton. The area has a population of 1,861[1].
The name Trull is thought to derive from the word Trendle meaning circle or wheel.[2]
All Saints Church has a tower dating from the 13th century, the rest is 15th Century. It was served by the monks of Taunton Priory until 1308.[2] The east window, dating from the 15th century, depicts the crucifixion with St. John and the Mother of Jesus at the foot of the Cross.[3] The pulpit is believed to date from around 1500. The building has been designated by English Heritage as a grade I listed building.[4]
