Troy Cogswell (born August 24, 1982 in Omaha, Nebraska) is a Professional Bowlers Association bowler that was a member of the University of Nebraska at Omaha bowling team. He graduated from UNO in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science and a minor in Mathematics.
Cogswell, a 6-0, 180 pound athlete, was born and raised in Omaha, NE. The strong points of his bowling game are shooting spares as he is very accurate with his straight ball. He has participated in many local and regional tournaments including a PBA Midwest Regional at Thunderbowl in Council Bluffs, IA. He had his first Perfect game (bowling) at the age of 14. He was also Bowler Of The Year in Nebraska in that season.
In his spare time, Troy enjoys sports in general with softball being his favorite activity outside of bowling. He is a known “ladies man.” He lives in South Omaha, Nebraska with his mother and father and currently works at West Corporation. Cogswell graduated with a 3.9 GPA at Omaha South High School, was in the top 10% of his class, scored a 33 on his ACT (examination), and was a recipient of the Goodrich Scholarship at UNO.
