[edit] Drama and music

There is a drama program at the school. They put on a winter play and a spring musical every year. The dress rehearsal for the musical is performed for the fifth graders from Neary Elementary School the day before the performance to the public. The 2007-2008 play was "Peter Pan" and the musical is an abridged version of "Once on This Island", which will be being preformed on May 9th and 10th, 2008.

Students can choose as musical electives chorus, band or orchestra. There are also extracurricular bands early in the morning, like Big Band or Stage Band. Kids can also audition for central districts.
