Trogosus is an extinct genus of mammal.
The 1,20 m (4 ft) long, bear-like herbivore tillodont had a large, short skull and flat feet. The mammal found in Wyoming, USA, lived during the Eocene between 54.8 to 33.7 million years ago. Trogosus had large, rodent-like incisors, which continued growing during the creature's entire life, weight 150 kg. Judging from the heavily worm molars, Trogosus fed on rough plant material such as roots and tubers.
